Race Against Time

I don't have much done on this fanfic, but I thought I would start putting one up. So here is the intro.


Intro:

One day everything goes wrong. You start out doing something that’s done every single day. But really it starts a chain reaction of events you never thought would happen. To overcome the obstacles there must be no room for hesitation. Cooperation is the only solution. For without it, everyone is doomed. Failure is not an option. There is only one chance. Swiftness is your ally. But in the end, is it enough?

It sounds really cool. The title of this project is the same as my rpg over at the technodrome. So I got kind of scared. We seem to have same kind of thoughts you and I blue ninja...

Chapter 1

He stood in the dojo, feet spread wide, katana in each hand. His breathing came a bit harder. He watched his red clad brother get to his feet and spin both sai. He re-angled his swords, one pointing to the ceiling, the other at the wall. Raph lunged forward grumbling something he couldn’t hear. Without batting an eye, Leo thrust a katana forward, locking it between the two sai.

“Why do you always do that?” Raph growled.

“This?” Leo flicked his sword, pulling away both sai, letting them fly into the wall.

“Yes that!” Raph thrust a fist at Leo’s head.

He flipped backwards. “It wouldn’t happen if you saw it coming.”

Raph growled and tackled him, rolling across the floor.

Leo let his katana drop and pushed his brother up kicking him so he flew up and hit the wall.

“Whatcha doing?”

“What’s it look like?!” Raph got up and glared at Mikey.

Leo stood and collected his katana, bracing himself for what he knew was coming.

“Uh...training?”

“Two points for the orange lazy turtle.”

Leo slid his swords in their case and shook his head. His arms crossed as he watched his brothers.

“Guess what today is,” Mikey said with a grin, obviously not paying total attention to what Raph called him.

“Do I have to?” Raph grumbled.

Mikey jutted out his bottom lip.

“Alright, alright.” Raph let out a ragged sigh. “What?”

“Chinese food night!”

“Thrilling.”

“Be nice Raph.”

“Audrey? What are you doing here?”

She smiled. “Watching.”

Raph threw his hands in the air and huffed, traipsing over to the wall where his sai hung. He muttered lowly pulling them out.

Leo’s eyeridge raised in amusement. “Why don’t you go get it tonight Mike?”

“Yes. Please.” Raph grunted.

Mikey stuck his tongue out at Raph, then turned and dashed out of the room.

“What a relief,” Raph sighed.

Audrey chuckled.

“Keep laughing and I’ll fight you next.”

“Only if you win.”

He unsheathed his katana again, taking up his position, waiting and watching his brother carefully for any sudden movement.

Raph spun his sai and jumped into the air, jerking his leg out in a kick.

Leo waited for him to get closer.
